Hello everyone - I am making a pair of skis for someone for Christmas and have realised that I have no clear topsheet left and can't get any in time
Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative - I don't want to go down the veneer route.
Thanks

No topsheet, just UV-stable epoxy.
I did two skis without topsheets, made both with SuperSap. It looks pretty nice with the core shining through the glasfibre even though it is not very durable. The second one had veneer just at the tip and the tail.

Some old tip from here was to use mylar foil. You remove it after baking and it should give you a nice smooth finish.

how about cotton like it was done while back. So many options from your local craft store
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
