Vac press table?

I'm also thinking about building such a table. What kind of vacuum pump do you use?

A vacuum pump! :-)
Serious..any, except a vacuum cleaner, will work since it will run continously a couple of hours. I'm fortunate to get worn out professional pumps from my job. Worn out for that purpose, not for building skis! :D
