Securing Core tot he profile jig

Hi

I know this has been covered alot, but i cant seem to find the other posts.

How is everyone securing their cores to their profiler? i am using the router method but have trouble holding the tips down...
I havent really left enough room to put nails in the ends either.....

Any help would be great!
