UHMW Material

Hi!

Is UHMW-Pe the same as UHMW ptex? Here In my country I only found this UHMW: http://www.cpchile.com/pdf/plasticos_in ... r_1000.pdf

I dont know if it is the same used in the ski industry....
If you know about this pleas let me know :)

it's basically the same raw material, except ski bases are treated to improve bonding (uhmpe doesn't bond well if untreated). this treatment usually consists of abrading and flame or corona treatment.
