It's been a long time since I posted some pictures of my progress. Pictures and short descriptions below for the last 3 pairs (same shape/profile) I've made.
Experimental pair for my wife (lucky gal!) with a mosaic of repurposed (leftover) veneer pieces.
And lastly a skwal I did for a customer in Mammoth. It's basically a snowboard with ski dimensions (2.2-11-2.2). Super stiff with a layer of CF on the bottom and 13mm of camber. I'm waiting for feedback on the performance of this rocket.

Serial Number and "Fire and Ice Birch" Detail. I debated doing anything by hand, but then decided it added a very nice personal touch.
For the skwal I took a ski template (basically flat under foot for ~24" have to pull up the cad drawing for exact dimensions), and then had a linear taper from there.
Basically I had a ski core already profiled when the request for a skwal came in, so I just added some width from a scrapped-out core and went to work. So really the taper started before the end fo the bindings...
