Has anybody used West System's g/flex to attach ptex sidewalls to core's? If so how did it work?

Finding the right adhesive is only half the problem - have you considered this - its cheaper:

It's generally used in the context of base repair:

Lol - OK, the technical sheet must be wrong, the conversations I had deceitful and my own testing is an illusion.
It would be interesting to here what the practical results are from using g-flex. Although the problem remains a two fold issue; find a product that it good enough to sustain a bond while it is passed through a planner.

I don't need to. This is one of the reason I decide to go router bridge root. I think this direction offer more flexibility and controlIt would be interesting to here what the practical results are from using g-flex. I've used G-Flex for repairs. Primarily in fixing delaminations. I tried the slow cure Loctite stuff first and the bond broke after one day out on the snow. Next I tried the G-Flex and my snowboard has held up for two more seasons and still going. Granted I'm not a park rat so it doesn't take that style of abuse but I ride pretty hard elsewhere on the mountain.Richuk wrote:It would be interesting to here what the practical results are from using g-flex.
