heat blanket controls

heat blanket controls
I am planning on building 2 heat blankets would that mean I would need 2 PID controllers and 2 of everything???

Short answer is yes or no.
You can run both blankets off of 1 heat controller, but then one blanket may get hotter than you desire depending on where your TC is.
If you can afford to you should definitely have 2 controllers if you have 2 blankets. If you can only afford 1 controller set up then your TC should be on the bottom. If it's on the top you will overheat the bottom blanket. Of course this means your top blanket won't be getting as hot, and you will therefore be inducing camber.
