couple questions on my machine
i just got ceramic belts in, do they need to be "seasoned" with a piece of steel like the other belts? i dont want to ruin the finish before i have a chance to use it.
has anyone been able to find replacement sprayer nozzles? i have been to every store within an hour of my house and never turned up anything similar. is this gonna be an online only option?
lastly what filter(s) are people using to keep the emulsion liquid clean. i have tried several options and feel like i have not quite hit it right.
Www.mcmastercar.com has replacement nozzles. I just bought some a few months ago. I will try to remember tomorrow to get you the part numbers. If I forget just send me an email.
II think the detumer is a stone not steel. Steel will make the agragrit sharp. Try some panty hose as an inner liner and add a small magnet to catch the small metal flakes.
I'm cheap so I use a 2x4 to "break in" the belts. Sock on the drain outlet and the mag is good too. Just put in a sock also. this helps when cleaning.

I always like to keep a junker ski handy when breaking in new belts. That way I can gradually knock the belt down with a stone and check the finish before tearing into the good skis.
