solvents of choice?
So after doing some reading here it seems that most folks are using either acetone or de-natured alcohol for general cleaning prior to layup. So I'm probably answering my own question but I wanted to see what most folks use for this currently. I thought I had read someplace acetone might have actually caused some of the delam problems for some folks when used for general cleaning. I unfortunately can't find the thread. Does anyone have info on this to share?

You don't even have a legit signature, nothing to reveal who you are and what you do...

Not sure if it's true or not, but i heard some spooky things abut acetone, MEK etc contributing to sensitization to epoxy. i use de-natured alcohol and have found no problems so far.
i also handle everything with gloves, gave up eating chips while working on boards, and let everything dry out a good 30 minutes or so after i clean.

solvents + uncured epoxy without gloves etc = epoxy absorbed into your body = bad.
