BTW,

I didnt know dryers had such heat comming from them ... i have a few old dryers at my house i can spare to this. thanks for the idea!

well not just dryers.

one old washer and one old dryer. we recently got new ones and had nothing to do with the old ones.

and who are you to judge someone?

Ordered a new thermostat yesterday...waiting..
...cleaned the workshop (atleast part of it) today...

The heat master is now official tested, pressing skis. My "hacked" thermostat makes the temp between 79 and 85°C. I let the heater on for ca: 50min then turned it off and let the temp down to room temp. again. Took almost 2 h. After that I took the skis out of the press and voila! Pressed skis under 3h. So far so good...
Things I didn't thought about, as a table top I have foam PVC, didn't like 80°C...:(
So now I have to refresh/rebuild atleast the vac. table top.
It's always something!......

That's great about the heater! Let us know how the skis turns out. That's nice to be able to turn out a pair of skis in 3 hrs vs over night. Some day I'll have a heater.
