Super Sap 100/1100 System

Post by erlabs »

Hi all,

I am sorry to disappoint you all about our decision to discontinue our Super Sap 100/1100 system in kit quantities. Unfortunately outside of this group we just did not have a lot of demand for this product in retail packaging. Additionally we've found that for most home building applications the chemical content of 1100 was not really needed as most cure schedules used by DIY'ers is above the 15min/180F requirement for larger manufacturers.

We have two options...

1)Use our Super Sap 100/1000 system. Although it was created for room temp cures, really the only difference between this system and the SS100/1100 system is the use of additional accelerators to speed the cure time. These accelerators are non-biobased and considered corrosives. The SS100/1000 system on the other hand is non-corrosive and non DOT-regulated. Its zero VOC, will deliver the same mechanical properties, and its heat assisted cure will still be very fast (~30min @ 180F).

2)Purchase the remaining stock of SS100/1100 we have in stock. We still have about 20+ kits available in stock. I'm willing to offer this to you at a 10% discount from the previous list price. Obviously this is not a long term solution but for those of you that just need some material to get you through your next builds hopefully this will be adequate.

Again I apologize for the inconvenience but we had to make this change for the future of our business. We definitely want to support the DIY'ers market and we love the idea of this group. Our goal is to change the chemical industry from the ground up and part of that is making sure we sell the safest products as possible. The 1100 system has a place in factories that require fast throughput and have highly regulated working environments. The 1000 system will be our bread and butter system for the DIY market and it works very well for all those applications.
