Maybe everyone already knows this but figured I'd pass it along just in case. Many cell phone cameras and digital cameras can capture meta data like your gps location along with your photo.
Like all good technology there's always the criminal element looking to exploit that info.... "Wow the nice car sitting in the driveway with the new home made skis." You get the idea.

I hadn't given much thought either until I saw a news clip a couple of months ago. I always thought it was pretty cool technology. I do a lot of photography as a hobby. My cameras don't have the geotag technology.
I think it can be a real problem w/ kids on social networks and pervs looking for kids. Sad but true.
