Don't have any first hand use, but from what I understand the guy making them is the original owner of ascension. I got skins from him when he was in a garage in Jackson and I am still using them 12 years later. I far as I can tell he is still using the same tip and tail kit on the first pair. Hope this helps.

I have some, great sknis, awful hardware, must get round to getting some solid tip bails and sts tails

I'll definitely have to get some coming.
Hardware can't be any worse than my old G3's.
That tip bail, even the largest one I could get, sucks! (tails pretty good though)

Dynastar Early Tram's (naxo21) showed up today
Screaming deal.
There are still some large left.
Once they are gone I'll remove the Ebay link from my earlier post.

Guess its time to build some touring specific 'fatties.
