Heat Controller ?'s

Post by SRP »

I was just wondering if some of the smart folks out there in the ski builder world could confirm if the parts I am looking at for my heat blanket controllers are what I am needing. The heat blankets are from MEI 240v 2400 watts each. I am planning on having independent heat control on the top and bottom.

I am looking at ordering from auberins.com

Here's the PID controller I am looking at
http://auberins.com/index.php?main_page ... ducts_id=3

Here's the SSR
http://auberins.com/index.php?main_page ... ducts_id=9

Here's the thermocouple

Obviously 2 of everything, for top and bottom controllers. I figure the other misc. things I can get locally. Thanks for any help.

i haven't really looked at the other stuff as I don't have time right now, but i would consider a different thermocouple.
you will want a flat one, instead of the probe.

I think you are right. I was trying to make it easy on myself so I could order everything from the same place, but I think it would make it more difficult to attach the probe type thermocouple. Thanks.
