spring clamps for glueing edges to base material

Post by falls »

Just came across this on ebay. Ending pretty soon, but if anyone needs small clamps there are 120 for about $15.

Plus $35 shipping... so its really $50

They are just Harbor Freight plastic ones, $4 for a 22 pack from harbor freight... so you're looking at ~$22 for the same amount from Harbor Freight.

ok. i am in australia, i thought the high freight was only for overseas shipping. $4 for 22 clamps beats anything I can find in Australia!

Where do you see these? I just paid $40 for 40 clamps. Cheapest I could find 3.5" length.

They have to be over 3"inches long otherwise they don't really clamp to well.

The 2.5" ones are fine... with HF quality, about 10% of them might have no spring force at all, but most are just fine.

I have about 25-30 4" Green spring clamps from HD. Sometimes they are hard to find now, but when i bought them they were $1/each.

Sure, a few more could be useful, but this is plenty for skis.

Ive got 12 green metal home depot springs, 4", 2 red ones (slightly weaker good for stuff you dont need tons of clamping force), and 3 huge ones.
We took the rubber ends off one side so they dont stick to the edge when glueing.
Not a fan of those plastic ones, I've broken a bunch of them
