Does anyone know of any good basalt suppliers? Tried a few places and none of them have 19 oz or 22 oz.

Try these guys. they are in europe somewhere. sell by the meter though. they are out of 720g/m currently but have a 900g/m. thin out your cores a sniff, it will get the job done. they price is right! 720 is more.

I use the triax from basaltex. It's bomber stuff. Buying a roll will set ya back a couple bucks, but last a hobby for a while. Shipping from Belgium to Canada was fierce$$$

Can't beat the torsional rigidity, of that balanced weave though.

Hello Dtrain

Can you talk me through the applications, lay up and weights of basalt that you use

my current lay ups use Biax GF and uni CF. Be interested to know how you use basalt and why

Thanks

Gilo
