Cardboard as Topsheet?

Post by pmg »

Hi,

thinking about a cheap alternative for topsheet. Had the idea to use colored cardboard like this:
http://www.modulor.de/Papier-Pappe-Kart ... arbig.html

Should soak the resin quite well and after the resin is cured it should be durable enough to act as top layer I think.

Any ideas on this? Has anyone already tried?

Thanks
Philipp

Im sure it would bond but my guess is that it would be heavy and not durable.
winter is coming..

Interesting concept and will work IMO if you spread epoxy over the top of it.
Pop one out and let us know the results.
