BioComposite Cores and Fibre Sheets- BComp

Post by ExoticSkis »

I just found this company in Switzerland making bio-composite (flax and balsa, flax and PET) cores and sheets. Very interesting. Several companies such as Idris and WhiteDotFreeride have been experimenting with flax-composite sheets to replace fiberglass/carbon/kevlar as a "Green" alternative.

It might be worth checking out. The have ski and snowboard-sized blanks.
Definitely read the info at their site.

Waw ! very interesting product, would be curious about the shipping to North Amercia though... I'd love to give it a try for my touring skis !
A bad day skiing is always better than a good one at work...
