Foam Core

Post by tsherman »

Hello, I am trying to use foam as a substitute to wood as a core material. What foam density works the best? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make this happen, or where I can find someone else who can? Thank you.

Search the forum! Foam has been done. IMHO, don't use foam. Wood is far superior. But if you want to use foam, make many test samples before you build a ski w/ it. Then you'll know whether it's worth pursuing.

Keep us posted.
