Causes of torsional twisting

Post by rjgerdes »

Hey all... I’ve had random issues with some skis coming out of the press with a significant torsional twist. The base molds are even, temps are even. I’m using Entropy CPM resin with a pneumatic press

Is it possible that this could happen as a result of removing from the cassette while still warm? The last pair that twisted was a bit tough to peel off the aluminum related to inadequate release quantity. As I look back, I had to really pry them off...

Thoughts???

epoxy is not hardened fully after curing. some factories bend the skis after to archive the same camber..... so yes, that may be our issue
