Holes

Post by the.quass »

Hey chaps,
So I am getting back on board (get it) the splitty project.
I seem to have screwed up on some hole measurements where the pucks will attach. Should I cut out the timber and glue in new stuff or fill holes with epoxy. And Re drill?
I think the first

I filled a hole with chopped up fibreglass and epoxy once then redrilled the right spot (that was through the epoxy filler) and put a binding freedom ski insert in. It has been OK. But I think the pucks on a split are prob more important than one binding screw on a ski
Don't wait up, I'm off to kill Summer....

I would use some epoxied in timber plugs and fill the holes that way, then mark correctly and redrill. On the inserts put some backing fibre on the bottom to help stop the insert flange pulling through. It will probably survive. Do you need any help with the measurements I can dig them out if you need them. cheers
