I'm using plotter paper for my graphics, but noticed in my last build that I got some translucency when it was wetting with the epoxy. I was thinking of doing an acrylic white backcoat on the paper this time to help minimize that. Any thoughts on how effective this is and if it will effect adhesion.
I used to do that. It kinda.works, but the grapics peel away much easier and don't last very long. I have one board where the graphic peeled off almost completely after a few.days.of use.
Best to test.
I tested the acrylic on clear top. Pealed off pretty easy. Its either nazdar or balser epoxy based ink. Or consider adding the correct epoxy colorant but it will only be slightly opaque if you are not heat cureing as much will squeeze out.
