Is the thickest part of your core at the camber point?

Yes. Or at least it is supposed to be. We ran out of belts for the belt sander part of the way through the final stages of profiling. So, near the tail, it's about .4 mm thicker than we designed it to be. At camber point, the profile is pretty much what we wanted (maybe .1-.2 mm off).

I'm kind of agreeing with Hans in that the carbon wouldn't do a whole lot. While the composite symmetry might have done a little bit to help, I don't think it was what changed it. I'll admit the carbon we use is pretty damn beefy (22 oz), but overall I can't think of a logical reason why that would be the deciding factor.

I have also ruled out the mold because if it had a shape different than what we designed, I feel like the camber would have been the same in both pairs.
