Thanks for the info. I've been keeping my eye out for any carpenters, cabinet, sign makers, etc in the area who might have a CNC that I could ask, no luck yet.
Just call and ask EVERYONE. At some point someone will have some. I found a cabinet maker that does mine now. Very nice guy and always trying to get me to let him cut my cores on his machine haha. Probably will do that at some point.
awesome! do you just have him cut a template so you can can route the rest or does he do every rib?

I have him do every rib. Everything comes out identical. Even have him cut the 3/8 hole for the threaded rod. I also have him cut the top mold too.

Just makes life easier is all.

Sweet deal!

Think I figured out how to post pics, finally...here is our first pair, fresh out of the press (from this past summer):

First two with bindings...both of these are:
173cm - 130/101/115
26m radius
ash+poplar core with ash sidewall
9oz biax below/20oz tri above
burlap under clear topsheet for one, just clear topsheet on the second (with small fabric dots)

Did you do the 9oz on top because of the burlap? The skis without burlap, do those also only have 9oz on top? Very interesting combo of fiberglass.

They look great! Did you pigment the epoxy brown? Looks like it in the flashing.

Thanks guys, i ordered the glass from raka, at the time they were out of 12oz bi so i went with the 9oz...the skis are still lighter than i expected (core profile is 2-12-2, for both of those pairs). No pigment, might be just against the burlap, although this was using entropy which does have an amber-ish tone to it.

We had the cores shift slightly on both of these and had to fill the gaps with epoxy. On the next two pairs, which i'll post pics of in a bit, we solved this by just making wider cores

These have 2-12-2 hickory and poplar cores, with maple sidewalls.

Love this Grateful Dead topsheet. i blew this image up in photoshop, added the blue gradient, Coda did the rest. Very much like Wagners 'Flow' topsheet, where i got the idea obviously...

another Coda topsheet...
