Interwebz help: edge bender thread

Post by feldybikes »

Tried searching but I can't find a thread about making an edge bending out of a cheap tubing bender like this one:

I swear I've seen something like this before, but perhaps I'm going insane. Little help?[/img]

Search on 'tube bender'

I tried using that bender before. File a groove in the tool to hold the edge. Clamp or fasten the tool to a work table. Otherwsie it's kind of cumbersome.

Thanks. I thought I also saw one with the other type of tubing bender pictured above (or similar). Maybe not.

Yeah me too. It was posted a few days ago but it was a side note under a different topic. Can't recall which one. It has a pic of it attached to a work bench.

Use your hands, its free and it works well if you practice.
