First to hit urbans on skis? probably.

So, did they work, and how were they? Show everyone proof that your ride was a success (or even a complete failure)!

First to hit urbans on skis? probably.

Worked great,
they were faster than my friends skis ( he has volkl somthings) and im only proud of this because speed it a big issue in a city rail.

but i do have to say i was so afraid of getting soft tails i made the tails 1.5mm thicker than the nose, giving a 2-12-3.5 mm
and now i cant do butters. (n) too stiff.

uni glass top sheet is decently durable, but i made the mistake of buying 3 sets of extruded (? the softer base material ) bases and there is some gouges in the base from either the concrete hubba, the dfd rail or the urban concrete wall drop. but i honestly didnt expect the skis to be as good as they are.

good whippy spins, can do a 540 off a one foot drop!

i have a go pro video of the concrete hubba, but its too dark, and i need to figure out a way to fix my power generator for lights. ( it gets dark at 4:30 here)

and! i got a check from work for the november, and i bought my self a Canon rebel t2i, so i will have some nice edits this year.

(not the first to do urban on homemade skis)

Sounds like fun, good to hear they held up.

Worst. Video. Ever.

(I love the gopro banter though... "is it on? is the red light blinking?" my ski buddies must get so sick of hearing that from me :) )

Yep. Seems like half the time I somehow end up putting the damn thing in photo mode, so instead of video of a ski run, I get a single photo at the top. fail.

bad newws.
the rear binging got ripped out while hitting a rail. easily fixed it but, i think i should put aluminium plate under the uniglass top sheet. but the second pair should be coming out some time this week.

Bummer. Have any photos of the tear-out? A binding shouldn't rip out just from hitting a rail.

Did you put an extra layer of fiberglass in the binding mounting area?

(thanks for the GoPro link)
