I switched to wood tip spacers some times ago and have no problems. No bending of any kind cassette going in the press flat.... not sure if vacuum press would produce same results.

I forgot you making blocks. I glue up each core individual and 1/4sawing wood much convenient

never intended to use one piece core because 1/4sawing

I never researched spruce .... To my surprise have identical properties to popular.

@Dtrin how you sow yours? such a nice straight grain wood makes sense to have 1/4sowing

Hi to all. Have a problem with good wood. Almost for 4 month try to find poplar without knots on the market, but it is all in vain. Unfortunately this wood in not popular in my country. It is used only for pallet. Some sawmills can produce planed board from poplar for me but for very high price. wh...

Stainless steel is hard to work with. If aluminum hard to get you can use mild steel. 26 or 28gauge should be sufficient

you can find a lot of products on two parts PU if you search online or locally. problem some of them very dangerous and (as mentioned above) require protective equipment such as breeding air not a regular respirator with filter but special breeding air system. Also moisture curing product difficult ...
