I've used paper as graphics for most of my skis. Mostly in the form of logos on top of fabric though. I find that you need paper that will completely wet out with epoxy otherwise you'll have some delam issue when the paper starts to separate. rockaukum's got it down....I usually flame treat the sidewalls before epoxying them on by passing a simple torch over the sidewall material.

We (me, BigKam, and Kelvin) tend to put zero bias on our skis because they're designed for tele. Typically tele skiers mount their skis dead center or in my case forward of center.
