Ok so I took your guys advice and decided to make a new core, so we just glued on the sidewalls and hopefully be profiling them soon! Also put the edges on my bases while I am waiting for the epoxy to dry. ;) http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o519/infinityskis/photo2-2.jpg [/img] http://i114...

Here is the other core, just as proof that I can make a mediocre core. But to your guys standards I should probably use it as firewood. hahaha :D http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o519/infinityskis/photo1-2.jpg http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/o519/infinityskis/photo2-1.jpg http://i1145....

hahahahaha I knew someone would say that, but it will look much better with a good belt sand. Also I don't have enough sidewall for another ski and sidewall is very expensive. So Im gonna belt sand em and work to get the flex identical.

I fixed the issue on the router bridge with my next core, which is much better. However I don't have enough material for a new core, soooo how do I fix this issue with the flex ?? Maybe I could glue some veneer in ?? or use some Fiberglass?? Or when I lay it up add a patch of glass there??

It ruins the flex because it acts as a hinge point for the flex of the ski, so it doesnnt flex smoothly anymore.

Ok so last night I was profiling my cores with my router bridge and had a snafu with the router, so now I have a huge trough in the tail of my ski. When I flex it, it acts like a hinge point and I can see it being a possible break point for the ski. The trough is on the top of the core. How do i fix...

Ya with many bike pumps the pressure gauges are very inaccurate and often break. So i would recommend buying a quality tire pressure gauge witch will give you a much more accurate reading. However i don't know if they make ones that are presta compatible. My friend who races motocross use a tire pre...
