i have not done enough tests on the PBT (lack of material) i assume that is what u are using. we ran photos and various printouts and the clarity is almost better when sublimated. that being said it depends on the substrate, with a light weave nylon/spandex combo some of the definition is lost, howe...

this is def a topic i am interested in and that i have been thinking about for awhile. my buddy skied on the afterbangs all season and ended up breaking them pretty severely jumping at the resort. i got to look at the aftermath and feel sure that water penetration into the layup caused the weak spot...

richuk, not to hijack after the initial cure (at under 200F) for the required time period, cold water is flushed through the cat track. much like a radiator. this allows the board to cure to room temp (or a handling temp) in a matter of minutes versus the 4-6 hours that it would normally take to get...

i feel like you are referencing my press (with the bottom cattrack).
totally unnecessary unless you are using it for liquid cooling.
as far as sizes, im not sure how thin you can go but make it beefy and they will not bend and the pressure will be even. might last longer too.

in good fashion we got it figured out after i posted this morning. doh. our programmer buddy came over and worked out some kinks with the MULTIRIP program, installed some new PDF readers, flexed fingers and the printer spat out the whole graphic. conclusions: the sawgrass driver (commercial versions...

pine yeah the setup of the inserts requires a lot of math and scary small measuring. luckily everything lined up pretty well for me this time around. i spent the better part of a day checking and rechecking the placement before drilling holes. make sure to dryfit before layup too, any small imperfec...

yeah he makes me feel like a kid when we ride together. this season he mastered a bunch of different doubles, and he has no fear on top of big cliffs and steep lines. i think we have the snowboard dialed in for him too, thats an accomplishment in itself. he does tend to go through them. so we ran a ...
