for those knuckledraggers out there.......

so we were lucky enough to be invited to the grand opening of the "snowboard" section of the vail ski museum. pretty radical event to witness. sadly i feel i am too young to appreciate the speed at which this sport has developed. i saw letters from every resort in colorado disallowing snow...

B i was fed up with the cheap ones, the local woodshop recommended abrasive blades, i was about to purchase this online. do you have any experience with the one at the bottom of the page? siimogrit? it says fiberglass and rubber (we have glass and plastic, polyurethane, wood whatever). our layups ca...

ummm, photos on snowboards/skis are SICK! the photo has to be a really high quality HUGE file in order to be at full resolution on your project. i would def recommend sublimation, its worth the dollars, anything else will give you a muddied color, which may work for just logos (black/one color) but ...

i have a pneumatic press (clamshell style, one side hinged). the purpose of the ram/actuator is to give us more room to load the cassette full of materials. it provides no pressure and would probably not be adequate to hold high pressure.

firehose is the way to go! crank up the pressure and heat!

i weld mostly with a traditional stick machine at work, however wish that i had a mig in my shop. cleaner welds and much easier to learn on, cleaning slag and grinding takes the majority of the time. just weld a lot, all over everything, for like a week, until your eyes hurt. then weld some press st...

looking for some crown galeria dyesub base

just putting the feelers out there to see if anyone has some galeria base material they would be willing to part with. we are trying to run some tests before making a larger purchase. at least 13in wide by whatever you got!
will trade for cash, cores, or various other materials.

beautiful split! i would def sacrifice "weight" for real and durable ptex and edges, especially on a split. what type of bindings are those? and brazen, i was converted from camber to rocker purely for backcountry riding. i can ride a smaller board with less effort in pow. we feel like its...

i agree with brazen and several others. the name is important but by no means more important than the product. good products sell themselves, a good name helps with marketing and recognition. it took me (us) over two years to even begin talking about a name. and our "algorithm" was 10-15 p...

doughboy got it right. there are millions of ways to "sponsor" athletes. we will have 5 "sponsored" riders this season. for us (as the snowboard manufacturer/rad leader) this means: buying season passes, paying comp entry fees, obviously snowboards, but bindings and boots are als...

so we took a short hiatus from snowboards while we make some videos, sub some graphics and get diecuts dialed in. my good friend who grew up in aspen and went to design school with me offered to purchase most of the materials to mess around with some skis. so as long as none of our money goes into i...

well, this month we managed to make around 20 snowboards, pretty exhausting but it is great to see a stack of snowboards in the rack in our cleanroom. its getting colder so i feel rushed to keep making progress, we have big plans for this season but they all hinge on having tons of snowboards. our f...
