Could be your jointer is slightly off 90 deg. Or. Do you put half of your clamps under the glueup and half over to equalize clamp forces? If the wood is still wet the inside of the plank is wetter than the outside so when you split them they're likely to smile.

Next time you select core wood check through the stack for the lightest pieces. There can be large variations in density from plank to plank.

Nice vid. Is there a down side to using accelerator aside from how toxic it is?

Make a cassette to keep things lined up and I use 2 small nails to hold the materials in place. It my sound crude to nail your project to the mold but it's guaranteed things won't slide around.

A little vid from yesterday.
SugarBowl got about 18 inches of light stuff. No protection from the rocks below so staying on the trails was important.

Bridger. We're like brothers. I skiied New Hampshire ice for 32 years! If I were going to hold rocker I'd spend the extra money for some of that glass that is already layed up in sheets. Action sports technologys has it. I've made my cores in 3 layers so there's less spring back. The rocker came out...

Why no camber for Maine Ice? I've found with snowboards a rocker camber design works great.

I hand carved mine with a razor sharp chisel to get a super slick surface. I saw other peoples router work and could see that roughness.
My steps have a sharp leading edge then blend to the gliding surface.
Hope it works well.
