Currently things aren't moving at all. We had another son born 6 weeks premature. So a month in the hospital ate up tons of time and he's a lot more work than out first one so I spend more time as a dad. Since it's warm now and will be till November, I'm going to work on getting good forms and jigs ...

I would never buy a band saw smaller than 14". Anything less is just annoying to use. I use mine to resaw core blocks into 3/4" sections.

I haven't bought skies in about 10 years but back then bindings were always screwed to the ski. no inserts.

I would imagine it's just a groove cut in with a Dremmel tool and as abrasive wheel to accommodate the wings on the edge. I'm planning on the same thing when I go to buy it.
