Holes

Hey chaps,
So I am getting back on board (get it) the splitty project.
I seem to have screwed up on some hole measurements where the pucks will attach. Should I cut out the timber and glue in new stuff or fill holes with epoxy. And Re drill?
I think the first

They all look really good. The printed veneer looks great. I want a swallowtail. It's on my list of cool shit to make for sure. In the Swallow tail that you really like, You said camber goes all the way to the tail, do you still have a kick up or is the camber all the way to the tips? Not questionin...

You guys might know this. When I was in Fremont at the start of the month ( on holidays from Australia) I saw that Mervin MFG had an office there. It was after 5 on Saturday so i didn't explore and went to the brewery instead... My question, is that offices or a factory? I was thinking about trying ...

Hi Rich,
All good points.
I think if I add the carbon stringers on top (and bottom) it sounds like it might be enough.

Thanks for the tips Don

I have a voile kit and should have some prowder clips in a week or so. I won't have a core in that time anyway so all good.

Hey Richie, Thanks I made an edit... How did I forget that! In terms of split specific dims do you mean placement of hardware etc? that would be great if you have it. Also, what thickness are you running on your cores for a split? Do you change? I imagine a 1 - 1.5mm thicker in the middle/underfoot ...

Boards of Prey split

Hey guys, So, I am starting a new topic as the old one, although not much has happened in it is quite old. I wanted to keep this separate and hopefully update it a little more. I am making a split so I can start playing a little in the sidecountry/back country and possibly do my av cert this year on...

wanted - tele gear.

Hey guys, So I am embarking into the world of tele this season. I'm a non skiing snowboarder so it should be fun... I would like some ntn gear but its a bit out of my price for someone dabbling. After some good bindings (22 designs etc) and boots. I think I am a 30 in mondo but have to try some on a...

splitboard hardware

Has anyone thought about making their own splitty hardware before? I don't mean pucks and plates, more clips and hooks.
The voile ones look very basic and seem like you could make them out of steel or something lighter easily.

Hey Falls
I used some poplar and some recycled tasmanian oak floorboards. They are out of an old scout hall from what the man who sold them to me said.

Man, those pictures are BIIIIG!!!

I am the slowest ski builder around. When I am working I seem to make progress but then I have months in between. I have finished my second board and am happy with it. Its go a little rippling in the top sheet and the base isn't exactly flat but... I don't really care. Next is a set of ski's and a s...
