The base material has a very low stiffness compared to the composite, or the core material (unless you're using something like foam). The difference will be negligible. The 9th would actually work out way better for me now. I have a flying seminar thing down in Renton from 10-12 that day, then I can go fly for a little bit before we meet up on Mercer Island.

It looks like there's a BIG gap between contact points on two of the hoses in your last photo. There are at least four cattrack bars with no hose contact above them (I see some sheet metal). Cool idea, but I think you need to reduce the gap between the ski/board and your top mold so the hoses don't ...

A short belt, and very little coolant, won't keep the plastic cool enough. The long belts on big machines carry away a lot more heat, and they're doused with coolant (not just water).
