i've been able to source untreated bamboo flooring here in the states (near Seattle, WA) for $4 U.S. a board (surplus). they're 182cm long and once the tongue and groove are sawed off they're 85mm wide by 15mm thick i've checked on plywood prices, and they're insanely expensive... at least here. als...

fantastic start! i love the different aluminum thicknesses for your planer crib. great idea, especially if you got the aluminum free! You're build quality looks superb. whats wrong with 153mm at the tip? powder ski!

Found this site for machining.. http://www.emachineshop.com You download their cad software, design your part, say what type of material. Then the software analyzes the part and gives you a price. Then the part is shipped to you. I drafted out one of these rollers (edge teeth roller) done in t6 alu...

sean has built 3 pairs, and i have built 1 pair, with another on the way once i have a little more free time... eh? relevance? I'm already working on pair number 4 (5 technically, have to include stumpysticks), you gotta do some catching up son! oh yeah... and im waiting for somebody to get their s...

we're starting to remake our molds. we're going to do an adjustable mold now. i'd say look into doing adjustable if you think you'll be making skis for friends or anything. the mold i made for my non camber pow skis held up fine. but yeah if you have any sort of camber make sure you use threaded rod...

those are some sweet clamps you use for the gluing the cores! pretty expensive?

so why do you place an ash stringer in with the ptex sidewall?

thats quite the set-up you have there!

would you be willing to help some fellow builders out with some CNC work for a mold? :D
