The cedar skis looked awesome and were super light, but they shifted off the tip mold (flat tails) and didn't have enough tip to be safe skiing (yes, of course I tried). So I can't really tell you how they sk...

The flooring works fine. Get it. Or drop cash and get 4x8 sheets of the vertical grain . Teregan, smith and mong. Etc, etc. unless you buyin a few cubic meters directly from china. It's not cheap. 100 bucks for a box of flooring. 3 sets pow skis, or like 150-200 for a 4x8 sheet of the same stuff. S...

I just took a look at that site, they have some good deals. But here is my question would it be possible to buy a 2in x 6in x 8ft cut to to 1in x 6x x 8f to .5 in x 6 in with a table saw? Buying one plank of bamboo for 4 skis. You've got to factor in the kerf. Thin kerf ripping blade is around 1/8&...

Ok just downloaded sketch up, so go easy on how bad this draw up is. But this is the idea I'm working with. The inside of the box with a support in the middle that has air holes drilled in it. Make it air tight by using plumbing sealant along the seams, inside and outside. http://i42.tinypic.com/2dh...

I might be taking that road because after making a few pairs and having some bad luck with the holes throug...
