Hi Etch aluminum with sulpheric acid. When I was repairing ally MTB frames with carbon/ epoxy we used old car battery acid as an etch. Clean up with water before layup. It's a bit rough but worked OK for us. Chris.

Bleeder

Hi. Works fine with topsheet and vac bag for snowboards. You'll need to get some bleeder/breether cloth. It's like a poyester insluation fibre but in thinner rolls. Place it just beyond your edges under the overhanging top sheet and it'll act as a channel to drain away the excess resin. Just be care...

Accidental concave

Learning CAD

Hi. For what it's worth.... Learn to use Autocad. Once you get the basic concepts you'll love it. Import a .dxf from snocad 'tweek' it and import to CNC software.
