thank you so much for your tips and photos, falls! :) To use adhesive spray to attache bases looks fine. But do you spray the whole bases or only for example 3 places to attache it? I looked up the spray and it is pretty expensive in here. If spraying it only on few spots, it will last for several l...

Hi! Nice job :) I have just seen the new pairs above and the video. I like the minimalistic tools! it is very familiar to me :D ! And the best about it is that the result looks absolutely perfect! Do u use core exactly cut to dimensions of basese with edges? It could be fine for core centering from ...

Hi pmq! nice documentation and nice features. It is possible to see the passion you get from skibuilding which is i think the best about it. the tips. I don t think it is because of vertical tension... Amount of vertical tension must be minimal in contrary with some stress for example while flexing ...

The video quality sucks, but you can see enough - especially me making a little hole in the kitchen working space :) http://www.spame.de/skibau...

Cutting out theese hard wood destroys plates of my jigsaw, one plate for one and half pair of skis aproximately. But now i ve tried some very raugh plate designed for epoxy comp...

well, the skis are almost ready, just waiting for polyurethane coat and base grindindg. finally after doing a bit stiffer core than I expected, I realized to give the longtitudal carbon stringers out... Not sure if it was good idea. Yes the ski is quite stiff even without it but I wanted them a bit ...

I also agree with consistent wood stripes above the edges.... Additionally ,my opinion is that there is no need for plastic sidewalls if you have nice stripes of wood to place them above your edges. I have not tried ash for sidewalls yet but my girlfriend´s dad has a pair of really oldschool ash ski...

from characteristics above, I think, you can see that BL is harder and more elastic.... The ratio of Elastic modulus: crushing strength is in those characteristics better for BL.... twists as hell... well if you look at the BL how it grows.... the tree is not straight (like poplar, ash for example o...

How much have you overrockered your rocker shape bottom mold to get nice small rocker underfoot? I am not sure how much it will decrease. But i suppose it will be very similiar to camber deceeas...

Hi, i have already tried sidewalls from bangkirai wood. Durability is amazing and also the look. Someone says that wooden sidewalls increase the amount of vibration in skis but i dont think so... this summer i decided to go with black locust sidewalls. BL is very hard but in the same time flexible w...
