Yep..i can post picture on Monday. I don't know if those can be seen from pictures. I did not notice those before bottom grinding, waves feels with fingers better than see those. Today I got the skies from base grinding. There was same waves in the bottom, I don't know why? The shop had only huge automatic machine and he was not able to finish bottoms completely. If you want to add some Uni directional fibres, but don't want to add an entire layer, I bough a 2m long sheet of Uni directional Carbon, and cut it into strips. Is much better than using Roving. I have skies that are about flat, some 2-5 mm tail / tip rocker 140/111/130 R30, lenght 190 cm. With these skies I can ski on egde on hard /soft snow and powder etc. It's also easy to ski short turns. Yes on hard snow race ski are better but these skies are much better in variable conditions. I don't know if after heating is needed or not but atleast with bamboo rods the epoxy seems to be hard...

To keep the base & wood core together I use a wood pin glued to base material. Woud it work to make a round pin using waste of bottom material and make a small hole 4-6 mm to base material and to wood core. Repairing of the bottom is so easy that a small hole not a problem to fix. I use double s...
