Actually, belay my previous post. Follow the instructions in the first section of this page to add java to your path : http://introcs.cs.princeton.edu/java/15inout/windows-cmd.html Bear in mind that your path to java will be different to the one they quote. Yes, you need to find the path to your jav...

You have no problem posting images. You need to get the tags the right way around. it starts with [ img ] and ends with [ /img ]. Windows isn't seeing java. At all. Which is why nothing is working. Go to this page : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html ...

Now don't go doing anything rash Simon, going postal won't solve anything; ). I do apologize for my last post, I was just frustrated with my results after such an investment of time. Hey Art, that's totally understandable. Having to spend time with Windows does that to me too. "microsoft jscri...

Okay, so I have tried everything that has been suggested on this thread and nothing works. I even changed to windows 7, which was a lot of work, and re-downloaded the snocad file and it still won't launch. I'm out of ideas. Yowza. I feel your pain. However, here's an idea for you. "It doesn't ...

Hey Nikolai. That looks a lot like your Java is out of date. Can you fire up a command prompt again and do the following: java -version Yoo should get something a bit like this : Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_45-b06-451-11M4406) Java HotSpot(TM&...

Please, don't get into an OS flame war. They're rarely productive. Although, as a mac user, I do enjoy the irony of people using one MS OS saying another MS OS is "the problem" :) Anyway, back to the problem in hand. To get the path to a file under Vista, it appears that the solution is to...

<scrolls back> Ah, it was nearls who was having problems on OSX. Woops. Under windows, you need to get a command shell up somehow (don't do windows, sorry) and try running the .jar file from the command line. It should look a lot like my Mac instructions, in that your command line is gonna be someth...

Tufty, could you explain further, my understanding of computerize is kind of limited. Sure. Go to the finder, the "Applications" directory, in a subdirectory under there called "Utilities" you'll see "Terminal". Double-click it, and you'll get a terminal session open. ...

I like your second wire layout! There was a posting in this thread where I mentioned links to online calculators that make it easy to calculate the wattage of the blankets with a certain resistance...here's the link to the page: http://www.skibuilders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2690&postdays=0&...

It's the same as for the PC, as long as you have Java installed - double-click on the jar file and the job's a good 'un.

OK, I now have a copy, thanks to Derek (Dtrain). It's working as a locally installed jnlp app (requires editing the URL in the jnlp file) and I'm looking to see if I can't package it up better than that. However, if you wanted to install it to the server here, it would be easy to fix up an accompany...
