Fantastic! yes, that is what I was talking about. Has anyone tried them? does it work? Stiff and soft at the same time. A snowboard or a pair of skis on half a pill of viagra. They're reckoned to be the absolute dog's nadgers by those lucky enough to have ridden one. I do not feature in that group....

Personally, I don't see why, if you have a totally airtight system, a small car tyre compressor wouldn't work. You don't need 8-10 bars of pressure, everyone's pressing at under car tyre pressure anyway. The the advantages a big compressor brings are: - near-instant inflation, due to the big reservo...

prolly easier to get a pressure vessle Significantly safer, too. Rectangles are really dded stupid and dangerous shapes to be putting large amounts of pressure into. Compared to tubular or spherical containers, you're concentrating large amounts of force into very localised areas (hence your steel ...

Been a while since I played with C++, but if you need any help I'll be more than willing to do what I can.

<thread necromancy> I've been thinking about this as well. Frankly, beam presses scare the shit out of me, there's too many possible points of failure, and the failure modes are potentially catastrophic. I'd stay well away from PVC, though. Maximum rated / burst pressure goes down fast with pipe dia...

I don't particularly like the site. On the landing page, there's a big dded slideshow that takes up half of my browser window, pushing the actual content off the page. Accompanied by the fact it's loaded *after* the page has loaded, meaning that the content is *actively* pushed down to where I can't...

I've been doing a little insurance shopping and we can get a General Liability policy for $750 to start and $125/ month after that. I told the agent that we plan to sell upwards of $15,000/year of product (Gross price). Coverage is up to 1 million dollars for product insurance. Thoughts? Not a lawy...

I think twizz the creeper attachment was an integrated linear bearing and rack/pinion with stepper that pulled it along. The other side looks like it just slides in the workpiece. Alternately they talked about indexing the workpiece every 6 inches and you have to physically move it from one zone to...

Nice one, Dan. Glad to hear you're alright.

For support, there's enough of us techies around that we can probably manage the majority of that anyway.

however it is not recommended to fire up the blankets for a longer time when they're not in contact with the aluminum sheets. can you explain the reasons behind it. Insulation under knees/above the blankets should reduce heat loss but blanket itself might be hotter Alu has very good thermal conduct...
