It's printed on white cotton that comes in a 54"x100' roll.
Some of our friends have a small shop that prints flags and they're doing it for us.

The graphics are made by directly printing on cloth, high-res is kind of pricey but its worth it for what you get.

They've actually been building skis for a while, just really concentrating on poles, mr goode built a lot of water skis too. A friend of mines dad built skis with him at least 20yrs ago. the skis are very torsionally stiff and maybe half the weight of a regular ski.

Doughboy, Your picture is completely correct, but the vertical component is called the web and the two horizontile plates are known as the flange(s) i think you may have the terms confused. Using the beam with the web in the vertical position allows the beam to be fully utilized, in this orientation...

All you have to do is cut your core to the desired shape without sidewalls, then glue the sidewalls on (gorilla glue bonds well to wood and most plastics) and then profile the whole core w/ sidewalls attached. i've profiled using both a router bridge and planer and had no problems with the sidewalls...

We've been just testing the flex with comparison to other strips. While many boards tend to warp, i've been measuring the median between the natural camber and opposite. its really just a way that we can try to get two skis as similar to each other as we can, we will use the natural camber of the st...

Yeah, but the shop keeps growing in our barn, first it was just the back under the loft, but it's now eating into the main part where the work truck is kept. if this ski building keeps going like this it might just overtake the whole barn!
