I pour Polyurethane for other projects, I was just thinking earlier about making some molds from a tip and tail spacer template and pouring my own... Montucky.... never mind, they want 6-10$ a foot at 12" width

the thinninst available, at 4 inches wide, they want 2.10$/foot for, may be able to replace regular VDS as edge strips, but I was really looking for tip and tail spacers.

Man thats awesome. Glad you had fun, kind of like the old edgeless winterstick snowboards, rip it up in the soft but deadly on hard. Kind of cool having skis with no edges to sharpen or worry about getting all rusted up. This seriously simplifies build as well.
