Feeler: Single heat blanket

Qty. 1 14" x 80"
220 Volt 3000 Watts 13.64 Amps.

Rob, I did have the TC when I put this together, and the PID is set to the correct TC type (unless you have changed it). Your problem is that you have not tuned the PID to your blanket/mold combination. The controller sees that it is at 70F, and needs to go up, so it delivers full power. Because you...

Bump

I am adding some new remnant material to eBay this week. Size will be listed as 9", but the majority of the scraps are 10"+ wide.

I also have some 11.2 oz Bi-axial (+/- 45) carbon going up.

Re: Finishing PE sidewalls

Anyone sand the UHMWPE sidewall after routering the angle? I have some dark green sidewalls and after I routed them, I could see a little bit of texture. I checked the bit and it has a tiny nick in the edge. So I tried sanding and all it does is scuff the PE and it looks terrible. Is there a certai...

Shif speaks the truth, this is the best use of carbon to add stiffness.

The orientation of the carbon used in the airex dragonplate will offer minimal, if any, stiffness.

Could you cut the uni down across its width easily? As in take the 11in width and cut that down to 1in widths?
The unidirectional fibers run along the 100" length. You can easily cut 1"x100" strips.

PM me your ebay name and order date and I can check into it. Our web/eBay guy has been out since last Thursday, he'll be back in today.

If he's taking his time to get things out I'll take care of it.

EDIT: NOT STITCHED. Very light amount of adhesive is used to bind the uni together.
