Free Base Grinder/Sander
We have a Wintersteiger Micro-1 that we just want to get out of our space. We closed our shop last year. It is in Washington, DC.
The stone works great. The tensioner on the sander needs to be fixed.
It has a 150 mm wide stone.
If anything you can use it for parts

I have some rolls of 13mm wide x 0.2mm thick black VDS. Each roll is 70m long. I think we have maybe 5 rolls left. Does $40/roll work for you?

When we were prototyping asymmetric designs we also looked into offsetting the turning center from the inside and outside edges. Conceptually, when you are in a turn your inside foot will be ahead of your outside foot. We tried compensate for this by skewing the center of the turning radius slightly...

Everything went well while laying up. Put everything in the press. Pressurized the bladder and next was turning on the heat blanket. There was a short in the heat blanket where the thermocouple poked through. Once we plugged it in there was a huge arc and the thermo couple wire welded itself to the ...

16m outside radius with 20m inside radius is a big delta. For an asymmetric design you're trying to match the true difference in radius between your skis. When you are deep into a turn you won't have that big of a difference unless you put a lot of weight on your outside skis which I doubt you would...

I've been working on an online ski calculator for the past few months. It calculates the flexural rigidity along the length of the ski/board. I'll soon add 3-point bend analysis to it. Hope you find it useful. It's called PowderCAD This is my first post so I can post the link but you can click the l...
