How do the personal messages work???

Why are messages to a user named animator are just sitting in my Outbox, with no facility to send them? Did the user delete their account? I have no idea how to use this messaging system.

@dennyblaine @animator I just saw your comments. I don't receive email updates on this post apparently. Sorry for the delay. The press is indeed still available. I sent you both PM's with my contact info. I'll monitor this thread too for a while. Thanks.

Chilton Skis

I'm in Missoula, MT. I have a background in fine woodworking and furniture design. I first resolved to build skis from local wood in August 2015, around the time I started grad school. Since then, I raised a few grand to build some "prototypes", Synthesized some info from this forum, integ...

Updates?

Has anyone interacted recently with either of the people for whom email addresses are provided above? After filling out the Waelzholz inquiry form online for some of the 129 profile primed edging many weeks ago and never receiving a response, I found this thread. I wrote an email to both of these pe...

Do you use mold-release and an aluminum caul while pressing the wet epoxy-covered wood veneer? If you don't polish, can you achieve a good-looking matte finish with this approach? Do you find these to be hold up quite well to "abuse" after sidewall bevel/45 degree edge chamfer? Thank you.

Hi Richard, I tried to reply to your last PM, and I sent emails to both the email addresses I found for you. Do you prefer to just communicate through this thread? Do you still want to try to talk this weekend? Is the time difference just too inconvenient or something? I can be reached, much easier ...

This weekend should definitely work. Did you receive any emails from me? If not I can try again. If so, please feel free to respond to one of those and we can set up a time. I'd give you my email here, but the forum's not letting post URL's!

Thanks, and looking forward to it.

Hi Richard,

Very appreciative of your offer--haven't heard from you in several weeks so thought I'd try once more to take you up on this offer before I continue looking into other ways of getting into a CNC set-up.

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
