gav wa what kind of printer do you use for veneer?

Sidewalls are 7mm ABS, expect for the last snowboard I used white UHMW which was easier to bend. I used heat gun for bending all the sidewalls. In the future I will try wooden sidewalls.

I`ve made 4 snowboards with veener topsheet. Two of them have fold or wrinkles where vacuum suction hose was placed. And it is stiff, so I assume vacuum pump sucked more epoxy to this place. I don`t think grip tape is ok. I used some rubber for surfboards. For next one I will use eva traction control rubber which is proper thing but it is quite expensive.

After building first tree powderboards I would like to make powdersurf (bindingless snowboard). Do anyone know where can I buy traction control rubber in Europe? Maybe some rubber for surfboards. Any suggestions?

I would like to have bamboo veneer for snowboard top sheet on cap constructioin. Anybody does cap construction with veneer top sheet? Does it wrap around 45degree sidewall nicely? And are there any problems with unpeeling masking tape off the veneer? I will be using vacuum press.

Twizzstyle you are probably right. I didn`t think too much about basic physics behind:) Now I also think it will increase bending stifness about the longitudinal axis, which may not be bad for snowboard that has the widests points at 35cm.
