One other thing that affects camber / base shape is your lay up. If you don't have the same amount of fibre on both sides of the core you will bend the core. Say you add one extra layer glass on the bottom, then the bottom layer will shrink more after cool down than the top. So you will end up with ...

My thoughts on prepreg in short.. ( I got a question in a other tread but felt it was better to start a new.) I don't think prepregs are any good for DIY the main reasons are: 1. The prepregs I've used Needs a temp of 120deg C for 30min and needs to be kept below 123C as that's when the base melts.....

I'm going to use a VDS with one layer of flossed glass on one side hopefully this works. If not I'll just build without VDS, I'm not so sure it is needed as the flax will dampen the vibrations and there will not be as much tension from mismatched thermal expansion as I will cure at room temp instead...
