I'm using two 8 inch lay flat hoses side by side for my bladder. do I need to have a gap between them? i plan on clamping them both with one 18 inch angle iron pieces. if i need a gap what should it be?

thanks for the info guys. Im pry gonna buy some 8 inch just to have options. could i get away with using one piece of 8 inch lay flat? the press will have a cat track. inner frame is 18 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

Thanks, i can get 60 percent off on power tools through a friends work, could pick up a really nice full table planer for about the same price as that delta. I'm trying to make a bunch of boards this winter. do you think it is worth picking up a higher end planer?

I have 40 feet of 3 inch lay flat hose, would this be ok to use if i ran four strips of it? i could also get 8 inch wide hose from someone on here if i needed to. any input is appreciated.
